Of what meets YOUR eye...
Campus open day.
Wonderful time when possible students of Warwick come to view the best campus in the UK.
Walking down residential hall corridors, checking out the kitchens (I wonder whether they mention how you'll kicked off campus next year and will be difficult to get campus accommodation again in the third year), being offered tea and coffee by their potential departments(do they neglect to say that it never really happens again?), ooh'ing and ahh'ing at the wonders of uni life (Do the students realise that it's a Wednesday afternoon and most students don't have classes?).
How exciting it must seem to A level students who are laden with studying for their upcoming A2 examsto see students prancing around telling you that your vote is precious. (Gooly gee! They'll feel so significant here at Warwick!) and there's a huge blow up "1" in the Piazza by PWC (Weee! Great graduate employment opportunities here at Warwick!).
I MUST say... the uni is good at this.
Had a couple of friends visit over the weekend. Brought them to Coventry on Friday to eat at Noodle Bar (I did fail to mention that it was my first time there) and walk the market (Wow! Cheap cheap cheap!). Off to Birmingham we wen't on Saturday to eat at Cafe Soya, shop at Day Inn (glorious chinese groceries!) and the Bullring(Shopping galore! Omgsh, I spent so much money it's not funny). Come Sunday and Leamington it was for a walk down high street(Oh how quaint!), through the park (Ah! Swans!) and a meal at Druckers (Wonderful coffee and pastries they have).
I wonder how I fair agaisnt the uni at advertising =]
Anyone want to host a visit from me?

First Consequence of New Found Hobby
I'm supposed to go swimming now but noooOOoo... I just HAD to mess around and start up this blog instead of study and then swim...
Now I have to skip it, study so I can go for the Post M Night Social (PMS- ingenius name). Wonder if I'll be accepted well since I so adamantly refused to join the Cast and Crew to focus on Marketing (and on not dying due to over commitment).
Mistake for the day: Thinking that I have time to boil chicken stock from scratch
Shopping list:
- Chicken stock cube

Leisure
A seemingly vague word, recollected from times long ago that unearths deep pent up emotions (if one has some of that) and spews forth memoirs of good times and leaves me pensive and dreamy (or as much as I can possibly get). Now that the word has struck me, it is nestling itself into my consciousness and i put aside the stewpid yellow Business Law booklet for a bit (you see la, sure regret later one.. babi...).
Yeah, i've been way too busy. Used to enjoy it in term one. But things have gotten way too busy to just stop and think about anything. My whole life has been revolving around to do lists, datelines and scarping residual motivation from the Resource Tank just to wake up.
I've really had enough. I've still got lots of things that demand my attention (due to my own over commitance which i so tiredly regret) but I must (,will and can) find time to do things I LIKE. Too many activities, PAH! Not like i'll fully reap everything that each activity has to offer or offer everything that i've already reaped if I continue like this.
Focus! Like a laser beam! PEW PEW PEW! And shoot all the Space Invaders =]
Just hope it isn't too late really...
